you had 2 distribution blocks on the same wire? i had a one of those + style ones 0AWG in and 3 4AWG out. they were pretty nice.

 

Here is a pic of how it was.. The Main wire went to the T distribution blocks on the right. The one side then went to the the sub amp. Then the other side went to the distribution blocks on the left.. I only ran like 5" at most of power wire between the blocks.. It worked great and never had voltage problems. Actually upgrading to the 0awg I had over all 4awg made a huge difference.

so i ordered some stuff for the audio build. DC power 280amp alt. i have a mechman 270 amp alt but the guy i bought it from told me it would work on my car but it doesnt. so i have been fighting with him through paypal to get my money back since he started ignoring my texts. hes been realy hard to deal with. and non responsive.. kinda makes me not want to buy off of CACO anymore.. but DC power had 10% off and since alternators are 400$ 10% is nice! and it came with a cool lookin T-shirt for free! also picked up some Second skin Damp Pro for my doors. they had a 50% off sale this morning. and i got 125 feet of cadence speaker wire for 15$ for when i add more speakers. if yall are in the market for some 0 gauge audio savings has 17FT for 27$ thats a good deal on real 0AWG wire.

 

few updates... couple unexpected.. but very awesome! I called DC power to see how my alternator was comming. and the guy said they ran into an issue with the model that i wanted and upgraded me to the XP series for free due to the inconvenience which is a 630$ alternator and i only paid 350$. the guy said it was "my lucky day". very excited for that little monster to get here. also picking up a Pioneer AVH-4300 next week. been getting some packages all week from black friday.

i have way to many subwoofers. type Rs were getting to hot and smelly on 2k watts RMS so i bought new ones. my new SKAR subwoofers are little better then the type Rs even though they are wired at 2ohm instead of 1ohm right now. and they will be going in my SPL build but i need 4 more :p




ALSO not related to my car but still audio so i thought i would share.. :p . a good friend of mine has a birthday comming up and his GF wanted to get him speakers for his Forenza. picked these up for him, for his doors. ill be installing these as a supprise for his birthday.

 

Cool. I think its an Alpine thing about the smell and stuff.. I had an 12" Type X and it always got like that...

Do you still have that other alt.. Do you know if it would fit on a Chrysler 300.. with the 3.5L engine in it.

 

it might be but none the less those type Rs never dissappointed me. great subs idc if you can buy them at your local best buy they still sound great!

Just from looking at the pictures it looks totally different. i wish it would cause im sick of sitting on this thing. pay pal is taking a long time.

well i got my pioneer AVH p4300 hooked up this weekend. also finally Retuned everything with my DD-1 and wow! the new subs on the bc2000 sound amazing! definitly had a nice increase! even the Mids and highs sound a little better on the new headunit. hopefully ill get my new alternator in this week so i my lights wont dim so much. anyways. here are a few pics of the new HU in my dash! i love this thing.

ever since i have owned the car i had white marks under my Hvac. it doesnt come off with anything i have tried! im affraid to go to crazy so i dont hurt the dashboard!









does anyone else with subs in the back have trouble with the rear deck cover flapping and making awful noises? im considering laying some Second skin deadener under it or just removing it completely.
