okay i'll probably do that. what is it the downpipe like 100 bucks or something like that?

oh and is there a way to keep my pipes that i have now? i love that pipes that i have now and really don't want to get rid of them so is there a way to use a clamp or weld the ones i got now to the mufflers if they are around the same size?

Keep in mind that once you exchange the DP your car will through a code regarding the O2 sensor after the cat so you may want to invest on a O2 simulator from zzp and install it when you do the DP.

okay that's good to know that i can wait on that

yeah i've heard of those O2 sensors. not exaclty sure what they do lol but i've most def heard of em. so will i need to reprogram the computer or will it do it automatically? and how much do the sensors go for?

Unfortunately, ZZP no longer has the 02 sim anymore: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...ts1.php?id=967

If I were going to be worried about throwing a code, I'd just buy a downpipe with a cat already with it. Problem solved.

As far as downpipes go, I would go here to look at your options: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=551&catid=110

If you want to get really radical with the modifications, I would buy a 3" catted downpipe. That way your o2 sensors will be fine and you won't have to worry about setting any codes.

okay awesome. thanks zipper! but which is better to get bolt or weld? bolt sounds like it would be a hell of a lot easier since me and my friend dont have access to a welder as of right now

With anything, it all depends on your budget. If you want affordable, you're not going to do anymore modifications, and you have a way to delete your rear o2 sensor (either programmed out or find a used o2 emulator somewhere), then you can go with either the 2.5" downpipe with no cat (bolt in) for about $120. If you want to do more mods in the future and you need to keep your o2 sensor, then I would get the 3" 304SS downpipe with cat (bolt in) and that will cost about $240. All of your other options are pretty much inbetween the two of those.

Okay cool cool. Do I need the O2 extension option? and I'm guessing i would have to get gaskets for the front and rear?

Well, I stand corrected!
"Here it is the long awaited 304 stainless steel rear power log for your turbo kit. This is intended for turbo kit crossovers only!"
Per zzp on the rear power log. You may want to email zzp regarding the compatibility of their power log and their DP. I don't know what kind of set up you're running now so I can't tell you what you can keep or can't. Replacing the stock DP with the ZZP one shouldn't be any problem and you should be able to keep the set up you have right now till you decide to change it for the new mufflers.

Here are the links for the DP, the O2 sim, and the PL!

Like I said, the PL might not fit so you need to get in contact with ZZP and ask them.

I bought the DP from zzp and mine threw a code. It's no biggie really since it's not going to cause any problems. ZZP can have the pesky code eliminated from the PCM anyway. I wonder who sells them now?
