Default Trans slips in 1st

So.. I have a 2001 monte carlo ss with 49,000 miles on it. Did the trans fluid a good 8 months ago with dexron 6. I have a overkill pcm from Will. About 3 or 4 months ago is the first time it slipped. I left my car running while I ran into the bank to use the atm (about 3 min) when i got back in I back out of the spot then hit the gas.. when i did that i felt it slip, it revved a little but then i let off the gas. When i gave it gas again it worked fine.

The same thing kinda happened today when i was putting air in my tires. Left the car running for a good 4 minutes and when i got back in i hit the gas (i did kinda hit the gas a little more than normal cause i like to hear my exhaust lol ) and it slipped a little again. I didn't here any big clucks or anything. I let off the gas again right away and tried it again and it seems fine.

It did slip one other time also in 1st gear before today and the time at the bank

Should this be something to worry about? Is it worth rebuilding it as of right now because it slips once in a while? Sorry about the long story any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Is it slipping after you put it into gear? Are you waiting long enough for it to get into gear?

Has it ever done it while sitting at a stop light when you accelerate? If it does, then I would start to worry.

It's never done it taking off from stop light or anything.

I might not be waiting long enough.. I'm not sure though.. I'm usually good about letting it get into gear.
