i have a 95 monte ls and when i get on it a little bit the transmission will slip. until i let off it. i was wondering if this was a thing for this year or just my car.

 

The 4T60e's, which you have in your car arent known to be the best transmission out there. A shift kit with a mild pressure increase should get rid of the slippage.

 

how does it feel when it slips? just wondering.

 

yeah the stock trannys suck. mine would always let the car roll back on any incline, slip thru gears, felt like it had a stall converter ect.. on it. chevy really dropped the ball thats why i had to spend a couple thousand to make the one for my car as good as it is now
