TIRE RUBBING PROBLEM
No freaking way. First of all, 22's don't belong on a Monte Carlo in my opinion, they just don't fit. Secondly, A HAMMER TO YOUR STRUT TOWER??! Struts are expensive and he could ruin the struts, like DEI said, mess up your camber and like other members have said, mess up your alignment...Get it fixed at a dealership, put your stock tires/rims back on and give that rope a dope shop the bill.
well if 22's are what you like they will fit, shouldn't rub, so i would definetley go talk to this shop,
my opinion is the rims are the wrong offset, i'm not 100% sure, but the tire you should have is a 265/35/R22 on there

are the 07 monte carlo's not the same bolt pattern as the earlier ones? if so thats the wrong bolt pattern, but if they're on there then i guess not, but i still say they got you the wrong offset because they shouldn't rub
can you take a pic of yourcar with the wheels on so i can see how they sit on it?

Brakes are too small now...
I think it is unfortunate that you were hooked up with a crappy shop that doesn't know anything about suspension. They may have cost you a whole lot of money banging on that strut mount. Wizz is knowledgeable of wheel/tire combos. If you haven't already, I would put the stock wheels back on and take it to the dealership. I mean, you already have some damage and the last thing you need is damage to those wheels and very low profile tires. Good luck and keep us posted on what goes on!

they look like they stick out a little, how far are they sticking out? with the right offset they should not stick out, do they rub on the front when you turn the wheel too?
Front rubs just as i make sharp turn, i would say like a 1/16, it does not grab on anything. Rears are out cuz they put a 1/8 spacer as well and they stuck out just a little bit without it.any one have any idea how muchto replace thepiece that theywent to town on will cost?I talked to one shop today that said if the peolpe who alligned it wouldovalloutsome hole in the camber itwould work buti said F that buddy. What happens when you get your car alligned for the 20's or 22's and then youput stocks back on for winter, wouldnt that be off agian ?
