For those with fender well intakes
I had wanted to do a FWI for my z34 for a while, but I could never motivate myself because Im not quite sure what to do to get the washer bottle out of the way. So for anyone that has done a fender well intake, what did you do with the washer bottle?
yea i've been trying to figure that out myself. i thought of hunting through junkyards for a small enough bottle to squeeze in somewhere else. or the other option is relocating the battery as well (dunno bout you, but my battery is located underneath my washer bottle)
right now i've got the bottom of my air box still in-place. the air coming into it from behind the drivers side headlight. and i've twisted my air intake to be as low as possible into the air box so its getting somewhat cold air...when i'm moving. i'm looking into sealing the top somehow. i'll take some pictures when i make it outside today.

okay so here is where the cold air comes in from behind the drivers side headlight (so remove headlight when ya hit the drag strip)

and here is what i mean by the bottom of my airbox is still in place. so i'm going to seal the top of the box somehow..

I wanna go with the complete things, I thought about doing a short ram intake but I knew I wouldnt be happy with it for very long. Maybe someone can give us both some info to help us out. I might have to relocate the battery too but thats an easier task than relocating the washerbottle.
can ya move the water bottel tot eh other fender ? Mos tof th etime they are put there becuse they dont want to run the hose that far but you can defently run it further.
As far as the bottom air box in place and you want to make a top for it. Go to home depot and get a small peice of plexi glass and cut it to fit it. you can use the factory screw holes for mounting it.
then i would take a jig saw and cut the front out of the box. BUT leave the top lip so you have support for the cover.
Also you can use that krylon paint in it and repaint it any other color ya want to.
Also you cna threw a few LED's in it to make it light up at night if ya wan tthat also.
OR you can leave the front in place and use some small brass or aluminum spacers under the screws and just get longer screws to secure it all in place.
