When I first got my 2007 SS Monte Carlo I got around 28 on the highway and 17 in the city, now I get 33 on the higway and 18 in the city, thats driving about 70 on the highway.
Ouch, that's what I've been getting recently here in Laramie with my 3.9L. I knew the altitude was screwing me over in more ways than one.

Depends on what your commute is it highway or stop and go.
I get 16.5 mpg during the week. Stop and go one lane hilly *** roads.
On the Highway 25-27 mpg.
And I keep my foot off the gass.
DOD or AFM whatever you wanna call it only improves your economy with 6% to 8% so dont expect it to work miracles.

From what I've heard recently it seems that my gas mileage is not common, so expect around 26 or so on the highway.
