I bought mine off my dad. 07 ss with 3,200 miles on it about 8 days ago for $15,000. I love it. It was in storage for 2 years and only drove for like 2 months when new. Never seen rain, snow, salt or any of that except while sitting at the dealers lot.

That sucks about the smoke smell. Otherwise it sounds like a good car.

 

try to find a detail shop that can ozone the car and get rid of the smell

 

I can maybe understand about the smoke smell because I also smoke in my car... and if I wasn't a smoker I would have the same feelings! But I hope to keep my Monte for the rest of it's life, I hope?

 

Well, there's also a couple little knicks on the inside. Also, the brakes are going to need work. During the test drive they hardly stopped. And finally, I looked at the Car Fax report. It was in a front end collision. Forget that! I'll have to keep looking around.

 

i wouldnt like a car that someone smoked in but (it dont really bother me that some ppl do either...i mean it is your car) since i have an ozone machine i could fix the smell..but usually when ppl smoke in their cars they end up burning the carpet or seats

 

I understand completely, it is a bad and nasty habit!....
