Hey all, story time
Alright there is this guy at work with a 06 LTZ.
First off when i got my monte brand new, it was the talk of work, WHICH took away his "glory" of having a bada$$ monte. His was now 2nd best in other peoples eyes (i still loved it, its a monte)
Anyways he went on harping how his grill was better, tan interior was better (i have a friggin black car! black looks better in mine err!)
body kit he hated blah blah ect you get it.

heres my question, his has white checker'd flags on the side and has a turbo on it (so he claims)
He says its limited edition! only 10 made!
Ive never ever heard of a limited edition 06 monte ltz and cant find one online searching
Anyone else ever heard of one? i think he is b.s. ing me because at work i now have the "top monte".

Has anyone ever seen the turbo, i think its bs too but it sounds like a cool monte at least.

 

definitely BS, but then again why's it matter? I'd just ignore the guy and not worry about it honestly.. not worth your time

 

you know I ignored him in june, july, august.. But it's march and I still hear the same amount of stuff.
'know why my monte carlo is better than your seen everyday SS? It's limited edition' he says
I've seen one other 06 SS since I've bought mine around here. Just irritating

His is nice I've told him he should check out the forum he said 'sounds like a bunch of people with too much time on their hands'

Ask to see it or tell him to put his money where his mouth is... if it's a turbo'd 3.9 then it should have no problem keeping up or beating your monte in the 1/4

And maybe we do have too much time on our hands

 

Sounds like he has to be in the lime light all the time..
