I say its bs. Have him prove it. If its so limited edition Chevy would at least give him a certificate of authenticity. Or when he is not looking you can write down his vin and look up options.

Been telling him to pop the hood always an excuse. He knows the truth, although the limited edition thing, the dealer took him on that he paid more than I paid for mine!!

 

haha! Every monte is awesome don't get me wrong, his is just unique enough, but it's not over the top inmy book you know, it looks badass and is modest, I love it! Plus I have a sonic wallet! Sonic is awesome, his car is awesome, it works! just my opinion man!

 

Walk in, lay down about $2-300 in front of him and tell him to put his money where his mouth is if his car so BA lol and make sure to do it in front of everyone so they all see his reaction that should keep him quiet

The LTZ was a nice option in 2006. My Parents almost went for it. It has all the bells and whistles, better sound system (unless you opted for the 8-speaker in your SS), etc.

My Mom wanted all the comforts it brought, my Dad wanted the v8... we know who won that

He should be proud of his car, because it was the ONLY year for the LTZ and he has the rare 3900 engine. It's not that slow of a car stock. It was a pretty decent 6-banger.

He is lying about the Limited Edition though.

 

I hate people like that. One of my buddies from high school was like that. We both had older 4 wheel drive blazers that were in about the same condition but his was always better according to him. I would just Ignore it. If you happy with your monte who cares. I know this is easier said than done and if it were me I would keep hounding him to see that Turbo.
