My gripe is gas mileage, but I did not buy the SS for its steller MPG ratings!

- I also find the cup holders suck and I do not like that there is not a tray or something for change.
-The wheels are definitely not my favorite thing about this car.
- I wish the headliner was black.
- Bluetooth would have been nice.

 

Like Rick said, I too don't like how there is nothing to hold change. Other than using one of the cupholders.

A major disappointment is the fact that there is no way to connect an MP3 player to the factory stereo on the 2004. I don't feel like spending time and money on another stereo just so I can use my Ipod. And yes I did try the thing that broadcasts your Ipod/MP3 player over an unused FM frequency. Sound quality sucks. Constant hiss, even on the best of frequencies.

 

Yeah I am glad the stock head unit on the 06-07 Montes have the AUX input jack.

Taz, do you have a cassette player in your Monte. If you do, try an adaptor. I used one for my Stratus and it wasa lot better than the FM Transmitters. Not great, but better.

*i agree with the seatbelt issue. i'm only 5' tall so i have the seat almost all the way up and on long drives the seat belt irritates my neck. i have a seat belt cover though so that helps some.
*definitely the blind spots! passenger's side is worse for me.
*cupholders definitely suck. the front one (closest to the radio) is impossible to put a cup in, and forget about going around a corner with something in there. the one that is next to the center console is ok, but i do still find myself holding onto my coffee when going around corners. the front one i just use for change.
*really really really really wish there was an aux input for ipod/iphone. i agree with you taz, i've given up on the fm transmitters.
*no express up on drivers window. it has express down...but no up!

but of course the good outweighs the bad. even with its minor imperfections, it's the best car i've ever driven!!

To add, I wish the seats were better bolstered. I wish it had that nice hugging sunken down feeling like the Chrysler/Dodge SRT seats.

How many inserts are there suppose to be in the car? Our '03 only has one.
