Red face they finally got me for it.

so i was driving home tonight, windows down, going right on the speed limit just enojoying a nice drive when i look in the mirror, its the fuzz! he got me cause i have a blue licence plate light. i knew it was frowned appon but i had been driving for pretty close to a year with it but this guy got me. thankfully a cool cop, complimented my car, thats always a plus . gave me a written warning.. so i guess ill take that light back out. and put in a bright white one instead.. first time being pulled over in the 2 years i have been driving.. kind of a bummer though.

Yeah pretty sure its common knowledge not to have any Blue "blue" lights on your car, cause I guess its considered impersonating a cop or whatever.

cops down here dont do much. i see people drive with neon quite often and pink HIDs are becoming popular.

yeah thats what the cop told me. but if someone thinks my car is a cop because my licence plate light is blue and not flashing in anyway then you probably shouldn't be driving. but i do know its illegal and will remove it regardless.

When i was younger I always had mine red till i was asked not to. I got stopped a bunch of times and nobody ever said anything until one night. The best thing is I told him I researched it and found out I could have red lights because they were in the rear of the car. I think he believed me but did not want to hear about it anymore. Finally he said''Just do me a favor and take them out" i said OK. Just get the white leds now they'll look great.

yupp samething here. i went a long long time but i guess the run is over lol. i didnt agrue with that cop. its not that big of a deal to me anyway even though it is ridiculous. he said i cant have red or blue.. kind of funny cause my blue light lit up my licence plate much much better then my stock one.
