Default Tachometer wire

Wondering which wire in the engine harness is controlling the tachometer on my 2002 Monte original 3800 natural aspirated car ?

Sometimes if you can get to a Salvage yard and pull one of the Dash gauge panels out it is really helpful. I also purchased a set of repair manuals for mine off ebay that are real helpful. But right now it is too doggone cold to snoop at a salvage yard.

Trying to figure out which wire off the control module or crank sensor control's the tachometer. Plan on going to look at the salvage yards for some part's tomorrow, just have to bundle up more to stay warm suppose to get up to 14 degree's tomorrow.

On the 3400, 3800, and l67 its a white one coming from the far side of the pcm harness.. If that helps at all.. If it is of any use, I could take a picture or something for you later.. But thats for the PCM..

A picture would be great if you had a chance. Might need to connect it up to get the alternator to work.
