Hi I have two monte carlos, 2003 ss and a 2004 ss super charged both run but of course I want the supercharged engine in the 2003, has a better body, just would like to know if everything will swap over to the older one with out too much trouble , computer harness etc has anyone done the swap? Thanks in advance of any help or turn me in the right direction

 

Are both similarly equipped, just that the 04 has a supercharger?

I don't have any experience with the swap you want to do but based on me swapping a 2000 SS BCM and its radio into my 2001 SS, it would seem that you could swap the front harnesses, BCMs, ECMs, PCMs, radios and drivetrains. At that point, they're both basically just bodies.

I don't know if the dash harnesses are different, does a supercharged have any dash indicators?

 

I believe youre correct here.. The only difference regarding the dash is the boost gauge rather than the volt meter or oil pressure, cant remember. Thats no matter tho either dash (gauge cluster) can be interchanged with each other. I did this myself actually, replaced my boost gauge cluster with the volt meter cluster.
