I don't know 100%. But I've been told that the 5.3 litre engine won't fit in the 6th gen engine compartment.

There was a guy that put the 5.3l on the 6th Gen cradle and had to redo all wiring harnesses, id assume there's no real write-up for it.most of the interior was swapped too to match the 7th gen

He has a write up in the how to section. You just have to search.

It has been done in a monte, and an Impala too. General consensus seems to be the L67 is cheaper and easier to acquire and swap- and can make just as much power due to plentiful aftermarket.

Yeah I agree with , it's not the swap that is the hard part it's the complete swap out of the electrical system...if serious I would follow Dredd's thread, but would seriously consider a 3800 with a turbo or a top swap, or just a 3800/SC.

I've never known to put a turbo in the car or an ls at that.. Would it be better to swap to a 3800 better or would I be fine with my 3400??
