most def the pace spoiler! most of my reasons have already been posted from other members lol; looks more like a "race car", and it gives the car more of an aggressive look

I know there's been many people that switched. But there's a problem. The holes in the trunk lid. If you use the 2000-2005 "race inspired" spoiler, holes left over from the surfboard spoiler are fully exposed. I've been told that the 2006-2007 race inspired spoiler will take care of that problem.

So if you have a Monte with a Surfboard that is < 06 and want to switch to the race inspired, you would need a Race Inspired that is > 05 to cover up the holes?

If you have ANY surfboard, 00-07 and you want to swap it for the stand-up spoiler without re-drilling holes, you would need to get the race-inspired off of an 06 or an 07.

So a 06 or 07 race-inspired is a bolt on replacement for the <05 surf board. No open holes?

Anyone know of a after market source? Or this a junk yard part?

Default ....rear spoiler.

.....definately the "race inspired spoiler". It just looks better in my opinion.
It is one of the reasons that I bought my 05 SS. To me , it makes the car look more aggresive. It also reminds me of a 69 Z/28 or a 72 Corvette.
You have to be careful buffing in that area. You can burn the paint off quickly. Better to use soft cloth method.
