i currently have the surfboard. I do vote for the race inspired one. If i get some extra cash I will buy one. But still MUCH rather have the surfboard than no spoiler.... ~~~~~~Surfs up DUDE!~~~~~~~~~~~

 

Race inspiried! I HAD to change my surfboard. I didn't hate it, I just like the look of the race inspiried better.

 

The surf boards are fine.

But in my book the Pace car, race inspired spoilers complete the look of a Monte Carlo.

(must be a male thing. to make up for other lacking things) lol

 

i have the pace car style on my car....and i did not know about the other till someone pulled up next to me with the surfboard one. and i kinda like it better. but if i was to try and mold that one to the trunk it wont look to rigth. =[ so i go for the pace car style =]

 

erect or limp is the question! I know there are those who claim they like the surfboard and honestly I believe thats thier way to justify not swapping. pesonally If it wasn't erect I would prefer not having one. I would rate the surfboard right along with those bulbose ugly three support post spoilers on the Pontiacs...talk about ugly! just my opinion Jarhead

 

i vote for the race spoiler!! just goes with the car better. but i do also like the look of the board just not as much.

 

Definitely the race-inspired spoiler! It was one of the reasons why I wanted the 3LT, instead of the 1 or 2LT models with the surfboard on the trunk.
When I'm out on the highway driving my 3LT with the upright spoiler, I feel like I'm a NASCAR driver, lol.

 

In my travels today, I saw a 6th gen Monte that looks like it was freshly dropped off the truck at a local junkyard. Doesn't look like it's been processed yet. The car looks as if it was in a roll over type accident. But the race inspired spoiler looks like it might have survived.

 

I DEE-SPIES the surfboard spoilers! IMHO, the 6th gen M.C. looks BETTER without the surfboard spoiler than with it!
I like the "race inspired" spoiler.This is my 2nd one.

 

Perhaps a slight preference to the upright/race/tail spoiler since that's what I have as standard-issue on my '07 LT, but I'd be okay with the surfboard style if the '07 LS would have been the car I actually bought.

Not that big a fan of spoilers to begin with, but not planning to take a hacksaw to mine.
