The one I am about to buy has the surfboard but I wont lie I love the Pace car spoiler better. I Don't Think I'll change it unless i get some major extra $ flow.
Question however, does the pace car spoiler give better performance in a sense? It looks like at high speeds it pushes the rear down more. The surfboard looks like it has a more casual effect.

Realistically, neither spoiler is going to make any significant difference in performance. For one thing, the drive wheels are in the front on 1995 and up Montes. Plus other factors. Basically, they're both for show.
I like the "race inspired" (pace car) spoiler on my Monte. But that's because it goes with the racing/sporty theme of the car.
The race inspired spoiler gives a more sporty look. The surfboard spoiler is more of a classy look.
Just my opinion.
