Default Was Superior Blue a rare color on the sixth gen?

Hi, I was just wondering if any of you guys would know if Superior Blue was a rare color on the sixth gen Monte Carlo SS. The color became available in 2003, which is the same year as my car in the photo below. I’ve seen photos of sixth gen’s with Superior Blue, but they always have the silver ground effects and aren’t completely blue like mine is. On Google Images, there’s only one place that has a few photos of a Monte that looks exactly as mine, completely blue and an SS model. On the road, I’ve seen a large majority of black, yellow, and silver sixth gen’s, but the only blue one I know of is mine.

To the best of knowledge, Superior blue was only offer for 2003 and 2004. In 2003, the Pace Car and Jeff Gordon edition cars made use of the color. Outside of my 2004 Monte, it is pretty rare for me to see Superior Blue around me at all (with or without silver ground fx). You might be able to get more info by emailing the people at the GM Heritage Site.
