Default Sunroof Assembly *sigh*

Hey MC family. So I'm having absolutely the worst luck with finding a replacement sunroof assembly for my 2000 SS and I found one in a 2005 Impala. Will that assembly fit and work in my 2000??

i believe those were the same if you can still get a hold of it. measure the glass and the tracks to see if they are the same size. the actual assembly is pretty universal for the sun roofs. moon roofs. also look at some of the after market shops that install for dealers they might have a source that you can get the info for so you can call them also.

I found one on eBay and I had them send me measurements of the glass and it was the same measurements on my glass..couldn't really measure the track assembly for obvious reason's, but the sunroof glass dimensions were the same.
