Every chip, scratch, and ding has a story behind it. I'm bored so lets hear some of them.

This one actually caused my fathers retirement from law enforcement. some lady hit my car and as any red blood American car guy would do, I chewed her out. She starts in on me and it gets out of hand. As I'm calling the Sheriff dept (AKA dad) she calling the PD. to make it short she went to the sheriff(who already hates my father) and said that he gave me preferred treatment and suspended him. Dad basically gives him a big F U, retires, starts working at a Chevy dealer, makes a crap ton of money and lowers his Blood pressure....all from this scratch( if you can see it.

 

That's a lot to happen from just a little scratch.


I would go over my car, but I would need a book.

Most of the major blemishes on mine are either from parking lots or letting my mother borrow it when i still had a 2nd vehicle. No good stories yet.

 

No pictures but some Jack A** leaned against my drivers side front fender with his keys or cell phone in his pocket last year and it put a dent in my fender right on the rolled edge !!
I was Pissed !!!
When I got back to my Car and 1 of my car club members told me what happened . but there was nothing I could really do . I got a pointless dent repair kit and it did not work . so i just kept seeing it and it was driving me nuts last year bur i did not want to pull the fender and repair it and repaint . so this spring i was talking to a guy at a out of town car show and he knew a guy that did painless dent repair and called him up at the show on a Saturday and the guy came out and fixed it at the show for $50 bucks !!!
it was awesome !!! now my car is ding and dent free again !!!

 

My front end is littered with chips from traveling the roads of New Mexico. Ive been wanting to get a new paint job now that i moved but not such a good idea in my apartment parking lot

 

my hood and front bumper have a lot of rock chips from all the highway miles, and other scratches are from things I didn't do, or that happened in a parking lot.
