they havent done it for the 03 cars. go figure LOL

wonder why it is on the 01 and they didnt just continue it threw out the years?

but who knows why they do what they do. kind of like putting out the new Camaro at the same time as Transformers in stead of two years after the movie when everyone has gotten over the Bumbel bee.

So the engine covers for 2003 do not have the detailing to them like the other years got?

I think the chrome letters went the way of the glove box light.Damn cost cutting bean counters.

I found the under hood lights were getting to be a joke anyway.
They were just barely bright enough to check your oil and that's about it.
If you had to make an emergency repair, you were screwed.

I'm not saying they should've gotten rid of them. But over the years, GM made them more and more useless until people didn't care anymore.

good point TAZ

but the ones i wish they would put in to all of the cars is the one out of the trucks. they would reel out and in so you have enough cabel to walk to the rear of the car and change a tire if you wanted to do so

I wanted to find two of them . put one in the trunk and one under the hood to

We only ever owned one car like that. It was the '61 Pontiac
Starchief.
