I'm with Mike (03SSLE) on this one..bent steering components and or possibly a bent rack component.

Did you clean the snow out of the area it was packed up in when you hit the snow bank?

The pump is belt driven, its either going to work or not work, no fuses or anything.

I talked with my mechanic about it and he's leaning toward the pump but he said it may correct itself. There doesn't appear to be any fluid movement in the resivor with the car rumning
