Im really thinking about spraying them. I liked the fact that they were the bright silver, but they started rusting and dont look as good now. They may get a new coat of bright silver or just black like you said.

I've always liked the quad tips. They look GREAT!
IMO, I'd stick with silver, or chrome-like high temp paint on the mufflers.

 

I think if I can find the aluminum colored paint in high temp paint, I might use that. If not Im just gonna find the closest color to what they are now.

Yeah they are bolt-ons.

 

They look awesome. +1 on the high temp silver paint. I used that stuff on my whole catback system and it held up really well after 5 years - even through 2.5 very salty winters. The only thing that's rusting are at the welds which can be easily touched up. BTW I bought the Dynomax cat back that was not stainless.
