thats modified tho, i love the 500+ hp ss with the cartuning turbo but i think if i ever go that much power it wont be in a monte, more like a camaro or something rwd

Actually I've seen reviews from Motor Trend with 5.7 Sec 0-60 times on a totally stock 2006-2007 SS.

stock theyre capable of 13s. theyre was a guy on clubgp with one that went something like 13.68 all stock with the headlight removed in the gxp. it was cold and at atco but its still possible. and the monte is lighter than the gp gxp. ive heard of a few going 13.8s stock. like i said though i think if you put a set of drag radials on both and ran them the BB car would win. and on the street where its more like 1/8th mile racing i think a first gen ls6 bb car with a modern tire could beat a ls4 car.

I hadda brain freeze my father in law has a new SS camaro, didnt know the cobalt could still be had in a SS though..I almost bought the Impala SS before i $$ my GT! But rearwhl drive won out...I wonder what times the magazine guys were getting w/the 80s SS montes???
