Default speakers

sometime with the radio volume half way up its loud and other times its not at all. anyone else have his problem?

are you going faster when its louder? its a feature on some cars

Perhaps your ears are adjusting to the volume? Once you have your music up relatively loud for a period of time your ears sort've adjust to it and it doesn't seem quite as loud.

I come into my neighborhood blaring death metal sometimes without even realizing it .

As mentioned, are you sure you don't have the auto speed volume on? Some of the radios will adjust the volume based on your speed. You can turn this feature off if you want.

That feature should be found on the "menu" option of the radio. Auto-Volume.

I will say sometimes my radio does sound loud and clear, other times I feel it sounds just ok. I notice at night it sounds really good. During the day it sounds just ok. Not sure why, but I think your ears do play tricks on you.

In the morning, when I get into my car and forget to turn down the radio from the night before, I get startled by the loudness. I think to myself, it did not sound this loud last night!
