Lightbulb Which speaker will sound better?

Right now im trying to redo the whole inside of my car. I have factory speakers inside, Pioneer F900BT headunit, and 2 Alpine type R 12" wit a 3K watt amp... Im trying to figure out which would b better between Alpine type R/X or polk audio or any other suggestions thats not too pricey like $300 a pair or something. Thanks in advance

It's really weird how it works, but different amps will sound different w/ different speakers/subs... I would suggest going to any local stereo shop and ask if they can show you how some of them sound... try a pioneer amp w/ the 10'' R's

But also keep in mind that shops use just about optimal enclosures. They will sound great there but sounds a bit diff in your car. Just try to get the ones that sounds the best to you and go from there.

Also dont forget to ask what amps, crossovers, and such are being used at the same time. That will effect the sounds also.

P.S. make sure that your license plate, trunk, and spoiler (if you didnt take it off) is tight and fastened down.... the worst thing to have and the one that everyone laughs at is a vibrating trunk, and license plate

Nobody can tell you what will sound good to you so your best bet is to hit up some local places where you can listen to them and decide for yourself what sounds better.

Look into Focal, Hertz, Rainbow. I have 6-6.5" Powerbass 2Xls in the fron doors of my blazer. They get loud and clear! Comp sets usually sound better. Make sure yu do some sound deadner in and around the speakers. It ALWAYS helps sound quality!

I have had good luck with polk, pioneer, kenwood, rockford, and of course jl.
