Some goop anyone......
do you still have the dex crp in it? and have you gone if for the recall?
if so they change the bolts that are around the thremostat houseing and then flush and refill the system then when they are done they throw in some bars leack tabs to make sure it wont leak agan.
I changed mine to regular old green anti freez and have no issues with it and i dont have to run leak tabs to make sure it dont leak. i also put a cooler t-stat in the car and used a quality gasket on it nice and spongy so it seals better then the stock papre thin one will.
goo dluck!

That may actually be leak tabs put into the system at the factory. I had similar concerns with mine, took it to the stealership, said it was ok... I recently flushed my system and my goop is gone, for now anyway...

Nope, I pussed out......... I had to get it done and could not do it myself because of my lack of time/energy so I took it to my mechanic for the flush. I was not confident they would run the heater and double flush the system to get all the dex crap out before filling it up with the green/yellow stuff. But, I am going to handle the next flush and get away from Dexcrap.
i did mine after we talked in here about it. with no adverse effects. so im happy about it.
but i flushed it with water till it ran clear. then i drained it all out again.
Filled it with straight water. and ran it like that for about a hours trip (had to go get the ant freez)
then came home let cool off. Filled it with water 50/50 mix and runs great actually seen a drop in it of about one line on the guage.
also changed the t-stat and gasket at this time. So it was good to go for winter and this summer it is still green and i hav enot had to add anymore to it.
With dexcrap i was adding to it all the time it seemed.
I had it presure tested the last time i was in the dealer ship and it held preasure with out a leak down that was abnormal so that seems good so far.
