It might. But it depends on how much of the elements the car has seen. If it's been parked outside 100% of the time since new, you'll notice a difference. But a good detailing of the car would help with that.

Driving home from the Poconos this weekend my car rolled 178,000 miles.
The badge isn't ghosted, but there are tiny swirl marks in the paint that magically aren't there where the words monte carlo used to be, but you have to stare at it from 2 inches away in the correct lighting at the right angle.

When I have my turbo ready to go on I think I will try to find a track for a before and after comparison.

i bet when you were taking the picks in the back of your mind. you were probably thinking my monty does not look right on stand over and over again till you were done. it looks good i like the black on our monte's but it does look good doing simple things make a big difference. you must have a lot of patence to paint the calipers

The patience part wasn't bad. It is always very relaxing when I am doing stuff to the Monte.
It was surprising how much I enjoyed wire brushing the calipers for my car lol, it was like I was turning back the clock on a piece of it and making it look new
