Default Sold my 98 :(

Sold to a girl in college. She and her dad were very nice people. She liked everything I did to it, and promised to take good care of it, haha. She previously drove a manual s10 with 250K on the clock. The car deserves to be driven and it just wasn't now because of the SS. Anywho, this allows me to focus completely on the SS

A parting shot:

I'll miss her for sure.

Hi Scott,
You did not say why you sold your superSuper Looking 98 Monte ?
How long did you have it ? How many miles where on it ?
Hopefully the college girl will be like Member's `Amy & Jamie Lynn, and will treat your Monte with love & care : )
It can be expensive to maintain & keep 2 cars, but now
you will be able to devote all your time to your
SuperSuper 2006 V8 SS
Do you have any future mod plans for your 06 SS ?

Look forward to your future posts & updated pictures
of your 06 SS...Good Luck

I was following this sale on mymonte.com

It sure is a shame to see it go, but it's understandable that you had to get rid of it, because it's hard to store a car

She was a very very beautiful 5th gen, and I hope that girl that bought it treats it for what it is.

Now the real question... what are you going to do to your SS with that money!?

Thanks for the support guys!

I decide to sell based on a few factors:
1. upkeep and insurance costs. I actually had to fix a brake issue to make the car sale-able to the new owner.
2. Storage: still living at home = no extra room
3. It deserves to be driven, I simply wasn't driving it nearly enough to warrant owning 2 cars.
4.-ish... it helped that the girl was very excited about getting it... though that was a somewhat uncontrollable factor!

As for the SS, it definitely eases the pain a whole lot I have some plans, but I'll wait until I decide for sure until postin' up.
