Default Snowpocalypse 2010

This is the first winter my MC has seen, and with nearly 3 feet of snow in NJ, I must say I am greatly impressed with how it handles the snow. I have stock size Falken 912's...Along with the weight of the car, was able to get through slippery plowed streets with ease, passing even pickup trucks getting stuck.

Definitely made the right choice with this car, even surprises me a year and a half later!

Saw a ton of cars left in snowbanks on major highways this week, hopefully this east coast blizzard was kind to everyone on here at the MCF

i really didnt think the snow was all that bad. nj has a bad habit of giving just about anyone a license. which i think is 90% of the problems on the roads. i havent driven mine in the snow yet, but hopefully the tires i have on there now are better than the goodyear rsas that were on there. i cant imagine them being any worse.

I remember driving NJ roads in the winter time. I had an 85 Chevy Caprice Classic Wagon at the time. IT WAS A TANK!!!. LOL

My Monte handles great in the snow here in NJ. We got almost 2 feet here from Sunday into Monday. The most was in Brick which got 34 inches from this blizzard and even made the ABC news, then today Brick made the news for the worst plowing neglect, lol. I even took my Monte 5 hours away to the Adirondacks last year and it was fine in the snow up there too.

Sounds like last February for me. We got 20+ inches over night. Drove the next day while there was about 6" of snow still on the roads. The front valance under the bumper cover was actually dragging through the snow as I drove, lol. Didnt have a problem at all. I was surprised how many cars were just abandoned on the side of the road. People just have no clue how to drive anymore. I cant understand it. All it takes is common sense but unfortunately that is lacking with alot of drivers on the road.

This was my first time driving in the snow, and I'm glad it was in the Monte. It really surprised me how well it does in the snow. It does so well, I had to give up my car for my mom one night because she refused to take her Camaro out in the snow :P I had to drive through the unplowed parking lot at my job with about 4-5 inches of snow on it, and it really surprised me there. It didn't get caught up or anything. It also had no problem escaping the ~2 feet of snow that buried it in front of the house.
