Default Slight Mod for the Rear Bumper

As some may have noticed, my Monte is in the body shop getting some work done. My body guy had an idea I thought was neat and I have never seen a Monte due (at least not yet).

I am on the fence. Part of me says "yeah, that would give a more complete look" and the other part says, "not so much". I will see him Monday after work and he said he can mock up a better visual. Mondya I will have to make the FINAL decision.

On the rear bumper, where the back up lights are, it is indented or grooved in a way that the lights look like they could have been "extended". His thought is to carry that out with the same silver seen in the ground fx.

Doc Brown moment: Please excuse the crudity of this model. I used a simple editor to do it, but shows a little what I'm talking about. Look at the rear back up lights on the bumper (again excuse the crappy image work by yours truly)....

Not sure how I feel about the silver. But I do know that the reverse lights painted/tinted blue would be awesome!

I thought about that idea, but I like the blacked out reverse lights on a black car.... Not really feelin' the blue-ed lights on a blue car....

I'd say either move them next to the license plate like on the newer Montes OR you can fill the little indentation between them and the license plate. But I'm not a fan of the silver look.

I'm not feeling the silver paint either. Get a 2006/7 rear bumper. It's got the reverse lights right up against the license plate. The bumper isn't exactly the same as the 6th gen bumper. But I think you could make it work.
