A fully functional spoiler is designed for RWD. It does help with speed by tacking the rear drive to the pavement, but it definitely decreases gas mileage.

Really good improvements! I like the wood trim, and thebwing always looks good on the Montes. Can't wait to see what you have else up your sleeves.

Well the rainy season is underway here in Florida, and I've got this leak in my trunk I've got to figure out.

I have water coming in through the seem right above the wheel well at the corner. You can kind of see a slit there. It's weird because I can't determine where exactly the water is leaking at to arrive there. It is right under the reservoir around the edge of the trunk where water drains through towards the back. I think I'm just going to fill that gap with some putty and see if water comes through somewhere else instead. And if not, then I will call it "fixed." Unless anyone has had a similar experience or can offer a better solution. For now I have to park it with a well placed bucket in the trunk if it's outside. Good thing I park in a garage at work.

Since no one has commented about it yet......do not, for the love of God, get those ugly Impala wheels.

Ok I won't. Well that's settled.
I'm actually focused on fixing the trunk leak right now anyway. Plus I think I'll wait until I need new tires to even think about new wheels anyway.
Thanks for lending your opinion though.

No problem, as far as your trunk leak goes, do you know if your issue consists of replacing the weather stripping or sealing it with something?

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Blues Brothers reference anyone? First thing I thought of when I read that post. I had to

Your car is coming along nicely. The trunk seal along with the rear and side window seals are all places to check for leakage.

'It's 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.'

'Hit it!'
