You are hooked now, once you have spent money on mods there is always something else to do next. I believe the spoiler makes the whole car what it is. That was a must do on your Monte bucket list........ Nice and welcome to the forum as I to believe I missed you....

The wood looks great. The tint just over the back headrests is also unique and thought provoking.

Nice work!
As far as the spoiler making a difference - no
Although I had a 74 Camaro and did a lot of interstate driving with no rear spoiler, once I installed it, it was a definite improvement. Held the back down and not as much movement.

FWIW, the spoiler on the 7th gen is useless even thought it looks awesome.

I could have water droplets on my trunk and spoiler, drive 23 miles to work, and the droplets are still there undisturbed.

This tells me there is no air hitting the spoiler at all.

That's what I thought. I am very happy with the way it looks, regardless of the utility.

Hey maybe I can get a couple opinions from some MC aficionados.

When I was shopping for a new car, I almost bought a cop Impala, and ended up the the MC. I am very happy with the purchase, but what I liked best about the cop Impala (at least aesthetically) was the wheels. So since they are the same car, I thought maybe I could get those wheels for the Monte.
My rims are the same color as the car, and it's almost too much silver.

What do you guys and girls think?

my spoiler made a difference before it my car would struggle to gain speed over 70. now when you get to 80 my car takes off... however it seems to have a negative effect on MPGS

A cop car has a full roller engine, super heavy duty brakes, and super heavy duty suspension.
