Should I keep my original plate?
Well I had to renew my current plates but I did order the RT 66 plates - can't wait to get them. It says it will take 30-45 business days.
stupid question time..... is it illegal to cut your license plate? Why I ask, because I have a frame that my plate doesn't fit into very well, I need to cut a tad off the bottom to get it to fit into the frame......
here is a pic of the frame and a new listing for the same frame that I currently have......

I thought all license plates are the same size? I think someone messed up on the measurements for the plate frame. I'd stay away from that.
I KNOW!!!! RAGE! I want want want them. Stupid IN and there stupid sports teams or lack there-of. NWI might as well be a Chicago-burb. We're on the same time frame unlike the rest of the state.

And, I bet you know how I voted anyway.
lolIt's too bad you weren't able to join us in April for the meet'n'greet in Dwight IL. Hope you saw the pics I posted. We ate at the Old Route 66 Family Restaurant and then took pics at one of the Route 66 gas stations in town.
I think you and I have the same Route 66 books ... and I'm glad you put the new one on your wish list! You ever traveled Route 66 all the way to CA? if not ... DO IT NOW. (Not that I'm biased.)

Brent really wants to take a RT 66 trip and since it looks like we are getting our 72 Monte back - that would be the perfect car to travel in. (The Chevelle has too high a gear in the back).
