Usually all SS's have them? wierd. im sure you could you would just have to do some extra wiring

He might actually already have the wiring in his car. I think it's just the matter of grabbing one from a junk yard and cutting his headliner.
Typically GM gives you the wires for everything, even if you car doesn't have it, so they dont' have to make new wiring harnesses.

He will have the wiring. GM even runs it up to the roof harness so it's literally right there.
Chibi is right about GM providing wiring anyways. When I added heated, powered seats to my LS I had the harness under the carpet to plug right into the seat and the harness in the console for the heat switches.

Do you have the storage bin overhead? I know personally I thought about adding a DIC - they also make 2 versions, 1 with and 1 without a sunroof button. I didn't want the sunroof switch as I don't have one. But if I were to add it, my headliner would have a "scar" from the storage bin as it's larger.
Everything you're going to need to do the install is in this page from BBEngineer. You can't order anything from him anymore as he closed up, you can however use the part numbers to get parts from GM if you wind up not getting the brackets or something from the donor car.

I recommend AC Delco or NGK platnium plugs. Napa has some nice reasonably priced wires.
Should have done the tune-up while the intake was off for gasket replacement! As I believe the intake has to come off to do the back 3 plugs?
I would go with OEM stock pads/rotors. Normal aftermarket stuff would be fine too... Unless you are running something serious under the hood, OEM like replacements will suit the car just fine
