On a Generation 1 (1970), did GM paint the seat tracks/rails, or leave them bare/plated?

 

ive seen them both ways so i couldnt tell you for sure what the factory did, but i would paint them black. ive seen them completely rusted with out a speck of paint on them in a chevelle, but who knows if that was a set of factory rails or aftermarket ones added after a seat swap.

 

thanks. I've seen 'em painted in cars, but the ones in catalogs look plain/bare. Think I'll paint them to match the interior color (black).
