Thinking about painting my roof rails silver. Reason why I'm thinking this is because I might be doing silver accents on the scoops of my hood this spring. I think silver would look good on the hood but I'm not for sure about the roof rails. May even consider just painting the hood all black with no accents. I need your advice! My only true thoughts are that it may be too much silver seeing how I've already got the lower trim silver and decals are silver etc... Please HELP

I'm open to other ideas as well, I have plenty of time until I'll be getting the hood ready so no rush.

I need to know more about the hood to make that decision. Are we talking the fully functional MPD-hood with scoop and having the edges Silver?

Either way, my vote is for BLACK roof rails.

I was thinking some accents like this.. found out the name for them is "blackbird stripes"

 

Sounds like I'll be leaving the rails black.. That's good though, I can put them on sooner

 

those don't look bad bud with the flag down the side already I think it may be too much, unless you could get a good painter to do some sort of ghost flag down the side of the hood, that would be sweet
