Please show me a photo of the light output when you have them installed and back in the housing. I'd like to see how far they project

Also you should have one of these in your car and you could probably just sand paper your screws Or clean them with some rust jelly.

BTW, How did those silverstar reverse lights work out, if you bought them? I had no idea they even existed. Also, what size LED should I be looking for if I go that route?

Thanks a lot for all your help guys it's definitely appreciated.
I haven't picked them up yet. I still plan on it though, and I didn't know they existed until recently either. I'll make sure to take pictures one I do. However, that probably won't be until the spring time because I believe it's pointless to do anything to my car in the Midwest winter time. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and share your results.

Mike is correct, bulb size 921.

Yes, please! I just had the windows on the Impala and Monte tinted. There really isn't a street light near my driveway so I'm more or less backing into a "guess". Seems kind of expensive but compared to calling a tow truck to drag my car out of a ditch sounds darn right cheap!

I blacked out my reverse light's and I believe the stock bulb from GM is still in there and they come on PERFECT even with 4 coats of paint on the reverse light's.

I wouldn't spent money on HID's for the reverse light's but hey if u wanna spend your cash on that. That's cool just cuz those light's only come on when you unlock the car and put the car in reverse so they are not seen to much but hey if u have the stock white light's still white then go for it

I'm assuming you want HID reverse light's because you already have HID's low's,high's and fog's???

Because I'm in the process of getting my low's,high's and fog's HID's here in the next few week's or so depending on if i decided to get a motor part instead LMFAO.

No no I didn't go HID bud, I was actually worried about frying my wiring with that stuff. I've heard a lot of cars have fallen victim to this but I'm sure there is a safe way around it. In the future, I might have a company custom make some projectors for HID technology in my 6th gen, heard on here it's around 400 bucks to have it done. I love the way they look but I'm not into blinding oncoming traffic just for looks. I'm currently running Silverstar ultras in the high's and lows and regular silverstars in the fogs (only available as regs). I've already picked up a pair of regular silverstars for the reverse to match- 7.49 isn't much so I figured why not.

As for everyone else I'll get the photos up as I do them (hopefully tonight!, if not tomorrow). I'm hoping they're as white as my fogs, noticeably cleaner looking than the dingy stock color. In the future I'm going to black them out along with everything else most likely, maybe come spring. I'm definitely doing this for looks as much as I am functionality. Backing out of a drive with two feet of snow on each side is a good enough reason to brighten them up, aside from my plans to get some tint. Most everything else can wait for spring.

Also, Mike that tool is awesome thanks for the link I'm buying it tonight for sure.

It's really good to have a quick set of Torx like that just in case for these stupid things.

And the gorilla grip is very strong, because if you never removed your reverse housings yet, that rust is going to be a pain to get at

I was going to ask about the heat problem you might have with HID's on the reverse light's
So that is the only light they sell for the reverse light that can be the whitest that's available? Because my reverse light's are still WHITE as hell.

Very true about the Torx. I hate when I'm working on my car and then those stupid lil wanna be screw's are there lol

Gorilla Grip is very strong I used it for previous vehicle and never had a problem with rain or the extreme heat in Texas.

Well the gorilla grip is coming in the mail in a couple days. I picked up some torx screws for free at the dealership. Guess they didn't want to charge me cause printing the invoice itself is 3 bucks anyways weird. Should have them in tonight.

I put them in tonight and they're definitely way brighter than the pasty yellow stock lights. Range and color seem good at night like the fogs, not too bad for 7 bucks. My friend said they were 'blinding'. Good results all in all if you have tint on the back, wanting to see at night and you're looking for decent color. I'll take some photos tonight or tomorrow hopefully at the gfs.

Cool. I look forward to seeing the pics. I wonder, could you put a stock bulb back in to show a comparison? Thanks!
