That must've been a REAL crappy repair job, because I've only repaired fiberglass once in my life, on my Honda's lip about a year and a half ago, and I scrape that sucker at least once a week with NO breakage.

Just returned from the dealership to dbl check on getting it fixed.... also stopped at the shop that did the ****ty repair job...and he flat out refuses to accept the fact that there repair didnt hold up...He even wanted to charge me $100.00 to even check it out.... I told him flatout Im not paying for jack!
The dealer paid you to do the repair...It didnt hold up... and your the one whos liable to fix it right! Then he proceeded to try to tell me its my fault.. What a Joke! Said I did something/ran into something etc! I said its in storage in my personal garage.... None nobody nothing has even come close to that truck.... He basically ran out of the office.. Leaveing me in a learch...So, I followed him part way and he ran his little fanny right over to the Dealership to talk to the Manager... (Kurt) whos the Manager of the Used car lot I bought it from... Im now awaiting a return call from him (The manager Kurt) to see how this is gonna get handled!...

Heres the Irony:
I bought it in August 2012... They had for a little over 6 weeks to repair the crack...
Its been driven all of maybe 3 times and was put away (stored) Just before Halloween....
4 months later I move it 1 time.... and look what happens.... Here I thought I was done haveing to deal with the Idiot at the collision shop..(Taylor Chevrolet out sources there collision work) Its called Whites automotive ... If your from michigan...and live in the downriver area...
I highly recommend you avoid this place !!! The guy that owns it is a scam artist!

well it does seem like ya at least have a sense of humor about it. believe me i would be furious. at least when stuff like this happens we all have friends and a forum to vent to. and im not being a goof. its best to get it all out here rather than somewhere else. i know it will all work out for ya. my dad used to say to me when your sitting around the campfire later on tonite son, you will forget all about it. you know what i mean. this too shall pass

 

I agree over the long term it will be come forgetable....(like I did previously)
Hopeing i didnt have to deal with this clown anymore...

But Im back at square 1 again...So, all the past tensions have reared there ugly head again... Thus putting me back in that position I dont wanna be in...

Im just keeping the faith...That this time will be different... (That hasnt been the case as of yet)... So we will see... Theres a time to be Nice(which I was today)...and a time to be Not Nice.... That I hope to not experience during this drama!... The manager at the dealer I believe is on my side..
We will see what the outcome is....

 

That doesn't look anywhere near as bad as I thought... Can you even feel the crack? It can't be but so hard to sand it, put some resin in there, reinforce it with glass mat on the back if needed, sand it back smooth and paint... Sorry you have to go through this
