I bought a sunroof motor at a junkyard for $50 once. I was mad that I paid that much, but it did work. My Monte has rust under the gas door and I was quoted $470 to have it cut, replaced, and painted. It doesn't hurt to go to a shop and get a quote.

I have no hard value for you on the sunroof, but i've been told its expensive. You should really look into working on it yourself, save alot of money.

I already said that if I did it myself it's not going to be running again. I don't want to have to take the inside of the car apart cause it would take to much time, and it's my DD. It's also not like I took it to a Chevy dealer that's going to give me a price where I'm like efffffffffffffffffff. My friend took his Olds Cutlass Supreme XL to a Chevy dealer to see how much it would cost to get some rust fixed, and they said $1,200, that's more than that car was worth.

Same here I would definitely tear it apart myself before spending that much... $485 is a set of nice rims or intake and headers or something lol just seems like a lot to me
