I bought a sunroof motor at a junkyard for $50 once. I was mad that I paid that much, but it did work. My Monte has rust under the gas door and I was quoted $470 to have it cut, replaced, and painted. It doesn't hurt to go to a shop and get a quote.

I have no hard value for you on the sunroof, but i've been told its expensive. You should really look into working on it yourself, save alot of money.

You were mad because you paid $50?? I'd be throwing a fking party if I heard from the shop it's at it was only like $150.

I already said that if I did it myself it's not going to be running again. I don't want to have to take the inside of the car apart cause it would take to much time, and it's my DD. It's also not like I took it to a Chevy dealer that's going to give me a price where I'm like efffffffffffffffffff. My friend took his Olds Cutlass Supreme XL to a Chevy dealer to see how much it would cost to get some rust fixed, and they said $1,200, that's more than that car was worth.

Found out the price on the sunroof. $485. It'll be back with me Friday at the latest.

maybe you have more cash flow than the rest of us. I could never spend $485 on my sunroof, even though it doesn't work.

Same here I would definitely tear it apart myself before spending that much... $485 is a set of nice rims or intake and headers or something lol just seems like a lot to me
