Any1 ever swapped a Camaro L99 or 6.2 L92/L94 into a 06/07 SS, without issues with DOD/AFM still working?

This topic is mostly for fun, BUT an Extra Proven 100+hp while still keeping DOD for good MPG above 65..

I have some people interested in my 07 SS, & I may get another (now or later) n I was just wondering if any1
has done this swap without any real major issues? If I did/do this swap, I would also be doing the 4T80 Swap,
along with headers & at least full 3" I'd prolly do bigger a 3.5" or even 4" Exhaust to flow 450hp through better.

 

That's a pretty specific ask with that specific engine, I've not ever seen it done on here or on the various FB forums. I'd think the biggest issue youd run into is the bellhousing pattern not being the same between the LS4 and all other LS engines. The LS4 has a few other minor differences too, but the engine to trans connection seems like it would be the biggest hurdle.

I'd be curious though, why the swap over adding a turbo kit to the LS4? The turbo 5.3 should get better MPG and would make way more power than the Camaro engines stock. Would be a lot easier install too.

Also, no reason to go with 4" exhaust, that's way overkill for a relatively stock 6.2. That's enough to support like 1000 whp assuming it's not crush bent garbage.
