hey all, i am looking at an 03 SS limited edition and i am not sure what the 'limited edition' really means? i was wondering if anyone could tell me what it all has.

also..i am installing new headlights in it as soon as a get it. does anyone know what the model number of the bulbs is that i need? (i am installing sylverstars)..also, do i need a set for high beams and low beams? or is it one bulb? - embarassing question, but i havent seen a monte close up since i rolled mine and i never checked before that..thanks alot!

 

you need 9005 bulbs and 9006 bulbs for the headlights

9006 is low beam

9005 is high beam

 

Sorry, no idea, but it usually involves a set of options not standard on a vehicle like heated side mirrors, special floormats, and a review mirror that tells the temp.

I would contact the dealership to find the difference between an SS and SS LE.

 

it has the chevy logo imbedded in the headrest, thats about all i've noticed, and oh it says limited edition on the outside and on the speedo

I have a "limited edition" '03 SS according to my spedo. Im not too sure why it is "limited" thouugh. I dont have any special options like special floor mats, or special headrests or anything. All I have is the black with silver skirts w/ high-sport package. There not too limited though, there are so many around my town!

 

yah, i dont know why they did those whole limited edition cars, i guess just a gimmic to sell more of them

 

exactly! that is exactly what the car i am looking at is! i dont see anything special, no headrest logo, no custom floor mats, mine is black w/ silver and high sports appearance pack too
