I'd love to see you turbo your Monte mrl390. When you do it, I want to see many pics and videos.

Thanks Greg and Brock! Last night I was able to test out the Monte on the highway and I just about rear ended a Del Sol, lol. It was kinda scary getting on it like that for the first time. I know that 348whp isn't a lot more then the 325 it made before, but this was the first time that I tested it on the highway because my Monte has had such a bad lean issue. I'll have to do some more testing to verify (especially in warmer weather) but the tires were losing a little traction around 60mph.

Either way, when the weather gets better I will post more videos and pics.

I agree when I. Had my first monte (95 z34 totalled) the lq1 is an amazing engine, I just hated working on it.

Id have to say the 3800 has more umph, but there are still times I miss my old lq1

Thank you. It's been a difficult journey so far, but it's well worth it. I would encourage anyone to pursue it. This Monte puts a smile on my face when I get on it

Awesome man, I just recently encountered max out of the injectors with my 3.4" pulley. So I'm stuck with 12* commanded tops with 3.4" until I lean it out enough and see what it does. Then I got the 65#ers and a 3.2, 3.0, and 2.8 to slap on it. I can't wait lol

augi, I bought the kit from a guy on Clubgp about 3 years ago. It was kind of the right place at the right time. The kit was produced by Stattama (ZZP) and you can find info on the kit through this link: http://www.stattama.com/index.cfm?fu...2429&product=1 The kit is no longer in stock, but I have talked with Matt M at ZZP and he said that if someone wanted he would still produce the kit and in fact they have a used kit in stock too.

PacerSS, your Monte has come a LONG ways since your NA days. Have you swapped in a high flow fuel pump too? I can't remember. Either way, your Monte not only looks good, but it's always done great performance wise.

Boost is fun

Yeah man I popped in a racetronix during the build. Found out just how much pressure that sucker puts out when I forgot to tighten a rail stud all the way and it just left an injector in the head and separated on the #6. Damn near blew up, I had to have dumped about a half gallon in a minute. lol
