I find cars in green to be ugly!! Just once those red and orange lights hit the paint it's bleagh

Yeah definitely agreed, go ahead and imagine a green 6th gen SS. That would be putrid for sure, not to mention Christmas themed with the red SS, baha. Still waiting to see one, just because, thanks to Enzo I know they exist. XD

Weird though that the vin website says that every jasper green monte carlo is an SS, when I ran the codes.

Ive seen a green one before, very dark metallic I think. Mabye I have but I have seen a monte in the coolest color of blue ever if my memory is right, it had to have been repainted.

where can i get another cert. of auth. mine is missing.also is there anyway to find out my produc. number from the vin?its a dale jr.04 supercharged.

i thought your vin might have the production number in it?

This is a common problem that all the "driver" and pace car editions have. There is no production # stamped anywhere on the car from GM, and it's not part of the VIN either.

I believe Chevy numbered each car after the cars came off the assembly line.

The only thing you could possibly do is to call Chevy Customer Assistance, and hope they're in a good mood. Some people have had good luck from them. Not only finding out their production #, but also got the unclaimed certificate of authenticity.

Unfortunately, many others got stone-walled and given the run-around.
