Default Production Numbers

Does anyone know the production numbers (for trim levels) on the 2006 Monte. I have an SS, posted pictures, check it out, sweet as can be.

I remember seeing a thread a long time ago that mentioned how many Monte Carlos were made in total for each year. But it didn't go into any more detail than that. I'd be interested in seeing some production numbers too.

Like, how many were SS? How many were a certain color, and so on. I tried to do some research on that a couple years ago. But gave up. I should try again. Info might be out there now.

According to this, http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/28/r...f-monte-carlo/
34,113 Monte Carlos were sold for 2006. Other than that, I have no idea.

heres a link on the topic.the 06 07 monte ss is probably the second rarest of the ls4 cars after the LAX super. i can believe that they only made 10,880 of them, and then once you take into account color and options. they can probably be one of a couple hundred if it had the rally stripes, silver ground effects, heated mirrors, no sunroof, a funky color combo. theyre not to popular here in jersey. ive only seen a few. and theres a twin of my car rolling around in the next town. they are more popular in the midwest from what ive seen. you could always text kgb the question see what they have to say about it.

Yeah, some what popular where I am. I've seen a few handfuls. By no means around every corner, but they're around.

Monte Carlo's in general are pretty popular in the midwest. I see them around whenever I am in Missouri visiting family. But in my area Monte Carlo's are not all that popular. I see them once in a while, but not all over. And I rarley see the 06-07 body style, especially the SS version. There is one Laser Blue Metallic that is a few blocks from my house, but it is an SS. Otherwise, I don't see many laser blue ones.

yeah ive never seen a laser blue 06-07ss in person. its definitely the nicest color followed closely by white. im sure its the rarest if not maybe the jewel red tintcoat is. i believe that one cost extra, and i dont know why its probably my least favorite color followed closely by my victory red. theyre not popular here except with the homeboys and myself of course, but thats true with all the montes. everyone thinks theyre old men cars.
