Hi all, I've got a 1981 Monte Carlo...the problem is, the rear of the car is just about to rust it self to death. My question is. I would like to find a newer year Monte, what I would like to find is an SS. Now heres the problem. Before I go out and buy a SS. I want to know if the fron clip would be interchangable between the two. I want my front clip on the SS body. I'm more into the look of a non SS monte, but I like the interior and the fact I can mabey find one with T tops, and a shifter on the floor, with the bucket seats. So I need to know if my bumper, hood, and decklid with fit the SS. Thanks for your help, hope to hear somthing soon. Justin

 

yes they all should be all interchangiable 81-88 an ss into an ls thats def different usually it's theo otherway aroun... u could sell the ss front clip and make some $ too

 

I dont see why it wouldnt fit.
