Default Hot Flashes.

So i was driving around last night and i noticed my hand getting quite hot. It was resting on the heated seat controls and they were very warm. The Switched were not on, but it they were warming up. I then started feeling all the other controls and i noticed the ones on the wheel were hot as well. is this normal? or is my monte just having hot flashes..

Agree'd. The bulbs Chevy put into these cars wasn't the best idea they had.

My 2001 Camaro's steering wheel controls got hot, my moms 2004 Monte's controls got hot. It's normal. They should have used LED's and not bulbs, but whatever.

The '06 and up though I'm pretty sure they used LED's because they don't get hot. Neither my truck nor the Monte heats up.

I noticed that in the 06 SS also, not as hot on the buttons. And the blues looks pretty good.

I just can't get past the christmas tree gauges :P The red and green mixture looks weird to me haha.

Yeah, they don't get hot at all. With my Camaro or mom's Monte the bulbs could be on for about 20 minutes and would almost be hot enough to burn. But in my old Avy and in this car....nothing. Can't feel a thing.

I like the gauges, they're racing inspired!

Same here, no heat!
And I like the guages too, it's more teal and red. So... :p
Or you could always get the US Speedo guages.
