Default Parking light issue

Sorry if i been posting so much but im just trying to get my Monte squared away before inspection time. My driver side parking light stopped working...I think. the far left one with the tiny bulb works, but the one next to it seems to not work. The turn signal works but when I turn on the parking lights the light just doesnt come on?!? anyone had this issue before? sounds like an easy fix but i havent found much info on this.

have you replaced the bulb? check to see if there is any corrosion in the socket, if so clean up, and get some dielectric greese and put it in there
