it is the black leather they call it ebony in stead of Black.
white would most likely be called ivory or something like this. see the black with the orage would be kind of neat i think. defently diffrent

dont get me wrong i like the ebony but the grey looks more classy to me LOL
not to mention it would not suck the heat in to it as much
Moderator Mickey,
I cover the seats (and sometimes floor) in my cars with large towels.
Like my '86 LS Monte, I have maroon bed sheets on the bucket seats. Maroon towels cover the floor mats as well as a huge maroon towel covers the top of the back seats. The sun can and does damage car interiors.
My '06 Monte, I bought dark grey towels at Wal-Mart to cover the light grey leather seats and floor mats.
You can't image the dirt a towel will catch and keep out of your floor mats so they look nice "When you need them to."
Ieven cover the seats in my daily drivers to keep the sun off them and dirt out.

But having my kids (amzingly they are still alive) have a shake fight in the back seat of your car whie you on a trip less then a month after you bought your car. (yeah i about killed them)

I personally don'tcare forthe Ebony or Black interiors. They look great when in a showroom and not out in the real world. They get extremely hot in the summer and wow, do they ever get dusty. Black seems to act like a magnet for dust, it gets into every little seam and crevice and it takes hours to really give it a good cleaning, then in 2 days it's back. I guess the dust is still there on the lighter interiors, but you don't see it as much.

yeah they show some dust but not near as bad as ya think. just with kids they tend to show crumbs etc... but the nice part of it is if you keep on them they are not to bad,
mine still look black and even the seems do. so i would think it would not be that way after three years. i havent done a whole lot with the seats other then treat them so they dont get any harder then they are now and cracked.
Im not impressed with the leather they use on any of them for as faras the quality is.
that and it is real thin anyway.
i just think the other color would be nice as you seem to see more black then any other color for leather interior in genreal.
Mickey,
I realize kids and cars in general don't mix. A former girlfriend had two boys. Her car was always a mess inside. The times I let them in one of my cars I made them behave..... OR ELSE!!!!
The times my mother has owned a black on black car I would keep them clean (or try) for her. You use any kind of leather protectant on the seats they become that much more of a dust magnet. But this can go for any color seats, But I can agree the lighter colors tend to show less dust.
I know before I got my LTZ the dealer tried to interest me in a Monte with ebony interior. It was okay just something I wouldn't pick.
